Boat Parade Date December 13, 2025

Sponsorship for the 2025 St. Croix Christmas Boat Parade

OH my goodness we have not had a Christmas Boat Parade for 2 whole years!!!  Sooooo get READY!!!  It is time to Celebrate the beautiful season of Christmas, Kwannza, Chanukkah!

Roughly twenty-six years ago a group of St. Croix boaters got together and decided to give a gift to the people of St. Croix for the use of the beautiful waters surrounding their island.  The parade had between four to twelve boats decorated with lights driving through the Christiansted Harbor and around Protestant Cay and was attended by one to two hundred people.  In 2004, this committee was formed to help organize the parade and promote it.  We now have from twenty-five to thirty boaters participating in this event excluding the support groups (i.e., U. S. Coast Guard, U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, DPNR, National Park Service, VIPD Blue Lighting),  The crowd has grown from a couple of hundred to seven thousand plus!  The organization is made up of all volunteers. We are a non-profit  501 C 3 organization and have been doing so since 2011.  EIN: 66-0768243.
The goal of the event is to bring the people of St. Croix together to celebrate the start of the Christmas holiday season and to support charitable children’s organizations to help with their educational and other needs.  After each parade donations are made to various children’s organizations such as Toys for Tots, Boy Scouts, Boys & Girls Club, Jr. Achievement, Special Olympics, CASA, and Luv Kids.  An added benefit to the event is we are bringing tourists in who are specifically booking their holiday for the event. The St. Croix Christmas Boat Parade is the largest attended event on St. Croix, and is the largest Boat Parade in the Caribbean! In 2016 The Boat Parade donated $5000.00 to 5 children's charities.

In addition to the parade itself, we have events on the boardwalk starting at 1:00 P.M. drawing people to the event earlier for shopping and enjoy the holiday music.  Santa even comes in to greet the crowd and hand out candy canes.  The stores remain open late that evening and we also have many vendors for added fun for the community.(You need to know that all of our boaters do this event from their hearts and their own pockets.  It’s their Christmas gift to St. Croix!) This is our way of helping the St. Croix Community promote economic prosperity and enhance to quality of our Island life here on St. Croix.  As the last boaters disappear behind Protestant Cay the grand finale starts with a sky lit up in a spectacular fireworks show!
All of this is said. It takes a lot of volunteers and money to put this event on.  We have 21 committees that we have put together to make this one of the best family celebration days here on St. Croix. We are asking for your support in keeping this event one of St. Croix’s biggest and finest events.
